Ron Norris

Ron Norris is the Founder and Principal of Advanced Innovation Management (AIM), where he and his team help organizations solve complex business problems through innovation, operational experience, and advanced AI.

Before founding AIM, Ron served as Director of Innovation and Transformation at Georgia-Pacific, where his work spanned more than 130 facilities and approximately 30,000 employees. He led innovation initiatives across operations, supply chain, customer experience, and emerging technologies, including the development and application of AI beginning in 2018.

​Today, Ron's work focuses on the practical application of Generative AI, Agentic AI, Causal AI, knowledge capture, intelligent automation, and digital co-workers. His approach starts with the business problem, then determines the right combination of technology, knowledge, and experience to solve it and create measurable value.

Ron has spent much of his career creating and commercializing new ideas.

He holds multiple patents and was the architect of the world's first commercial audio and video streaming service. He has also held executive leadership and ownership roles at Mindflex Interactive and Imagefilms Interactive, working with numerous Fortune 500 companies.

In addition to AIM, Ron serves as an advisor to multiple manufacturing and oil and gas organizations and is a member of the Applied AI Consortium and Operational AI Consortium, working with business and technology leaders on the practical application of AI.
